MINDFUL ART
Deirdra Alexander is a versatile Teaching Artist and has been at the High Museum of Art since 2005. She works with all ages of students, engaging them with the High’s Art collection through discussions and hands-on art making. She is also an Early Childhood Educator at The Preschool@PRUMC since 1987, who developed and implemented their art program for students aged 4–6. Her focus is to guide students to build drawing and painting skills through exploration and observation. With a deep commitment to fostering creativity and hands-on experiences that encourage participants to find joy in the process of exploring art making!
