An interview with Karen and Frank Boykin discussing their son Stephen's addiction story and battle with heroin.

Parenting is not for the faint of heart. Children, no matter how hard you try or how much you do, come into this world with the genetic predispositions and, ultimately, wills of their own. Even the most focused, nurturing and intentional parents can have a child who faces scary, life-threatening problems. Karen and Frank Boykin are model, loving parents, who are very involved in  providing the best upbringing for their two children. Even so, their son Stephen fell prey to the terrible battle of addiction.

In this candid, heart-wrenching interview by Rev. Mace Hall,  you will hear a tale of woe but also a tale of utter love and hope, followed by redemption and success as the Boykins stood side-by-side with Stephen to help him achieve sobriety.
